Biography Emmanuel Hocdé

Emmanuel Hocdé studied with Michel Chapuis and Olivier Latry at the CNSMP graduating with a Premier Prix in organ, a premier Prix in bass continuo and a DFS.

In 2001, he obtained a diploma in organ improvisation from the CNSML.

In 2002, Emmanuel Hocdé won the international Organ Competition in Chartres where he awarded the Grand Prix for interpretation, the “Audience Favorite” Prize and the JS BACH Prize.

He is resident organist at the church of St Eloi (Paris), at the cathedral of Laval and resident organist-adjoint at the church of St Denys (Paris).

He teaches the organ in several music schools.
